3 Arrested After Firearms Stolen From Lookout Mountain Home

DeKalb County Theft Arrest

Three individuals have been charged in connection to the Burglary of a Lookout Mountain home last Thursday, April 2nd.

DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris said that Deputies and Investigators went to the residence and received information from citizens in the neighborhood including a description of the vehicle involved.

Deputies and Investigators followed up on the leads that lead them to the Kilpatrick area, where Deputies and Investigators found a vehicle matching the description given by the citizens.

When Deputies and Investigators got consent to search the vehicle they recovered 7 stolen firearms taken from the residence on Lookout Mountain, they also found Narcotics in the vehicle.

There was three individuals arrested Kelly Pointer, 34 of Crossville, charged with Receiving Stolen Property 1st, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Sean Michael Bower, 23 of Fort Payne and Patrick Reeves, 33 of Crossville were both charged with Burglary 3rd, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Sheriff Harris states “These arrest were made possible thanks to the concerned citizens of this community. The Deputies and Investigators did a great job on following up on these leads and making these arrest.”
