4.5ft rattlesnake killed in the Farrill Community north of Cedar Bluff Monday.
The snake was killed at Davis Bro Gin at Hwy 9 and 51 by Steve Hardin. Stephanie Guyton who is Steve’s brother posted on her Facebook page that the snake had 6 rattlers+ button and was as big around as her arm.
As you work out in the yard or in your gardens this summer be conscious of where you put your hands and always be on the lookout for snakes as you never know where one may be hiding.
Also, make sure to keep an eye on children playing in the yard and remember to keep a watch on your pets as they are susceptible to being bitten easily.
