Tim Burgess Sworn In as Cherokee County Probate Judge/County Commission Chairman

A who’s who of dignitaries, co-workers, family-members, friends, and well wishers packed the courtroom of the Cherokee County courthouse early Friday morning for the Investiture Ceremony as Tim Burgess became the new Probate Judge/County Commission Chairman.  Among those in attendance were Representative Richard Lindsey, Senator Phil Williams, Judges Shaunathan Bell, Jeremy Taylor and Wes Mobley, Dr. Martha Lavender, President of Gadsden State Community College and the parents of Kirk Day – Wayne and Barbara Day as well as his brother Keith and his wife Cindy.
