An investigation into the actions of a 68 year old DeKalb County man – has led to his arrest on charges of Possession of Obscene Matter, Obstruction of Governmental Operations, with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor and Receiving Stolen Property 3rd Degree.
Robert Carl Bannon stands accused of having sexual contact with a 15 year old girl; Bannon was arrested Monday night following the investigation – and remains lodged in the DeKalb County Detention Center without bond.
He was also allegedly in possession of a stolen pistol, at the time of his arrest – and, is being held for another agency; authorities say additional charges may be forthcoming.
Crossville Police are assisting in the case.
