70 Floyd County Residents Have Now Tested Positive for COVID-19

A total of 70 Floyd County residents have now tested positive for COVID-19 – that’s up from 50 just yesterday (Wednesday, April 1st, 2020).

According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, there are now 4,748 cases statewide and 154 deaths.  18 Gordon County residents have now tested positive for COVID-19, which is up from 16 the day before; Bartow County is up to 147 cases and four deaths; meanwhile, 16 Polk County residents have tested positive and Chattooga County has 3 confirmed cases.
