The big 7th annual May Community Day Celebration honoring ALL Veterans Past & Present will be held Saturday (May 25th) sponsored by the McCord’s Crossroads Homemakers Club and American Auctioneers.
The parade line up will take place at McCord’s Fire Hall on County Road 157 at 9:00am with a Patriotic Program set to begin at 10:00. Entertainment will be provided by GI Jive, out of Rome, Georgia. Lunch will be served afterwards at $6.00 per plate and ALL veterans will be served FREE of charge.
All proceeds from that event will go to the Hopewell Community Center.
