A number of Cherokee County restaurants, will be taking part in Alabama Restaurant Week, starting this Friday (August 12th) and continuing through Sunday August 21st.  During that time, approximately 170 restaurants across the state, will offer lunch and dinner specials at reduced prices.

Alabama Tourism Department Marketing Director Grey Brennan says diners do not have to have any coupons to enjoy the specials.

Local restaurants taking part in the promotion include:

Artic Snow, located at 170 Industrial Boulevard in Leesburg;

Lanny’s Restaurant at 1490 West Main Street in Centre

Sageberry Restaurant & Catering at 1235 County Road 162 in Centre;

The Cove at Riverside Campground, 1210 County Road 131 in Cedar Bluff;

Tim’s Walk Hard BBQ, located at 305 Industrial Boulevard in Leesburg.
