THE REAL AJ FOUNDATION

Our next event will be a “Silent Auction”, to be held in April 4, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. at Gadsden State Cherokee Arena in Centre, Alabama. Team AJ would love to extend an invite to you and your loved ones! During the event there will be an opportunity to bid on memorabilia and other items suitable for all sport fanatics!  See slideshow below to see some of the items that will be available for auction.

We will have former University of Alabama wide receiver Chad Goss as a special speaker!  Chad is a headlining motivational speaker. A former Alabama Crimson Tide starting wide receiver has a great personal story of overcoming many obstacles as a child and teenager before his life changing journey at the University of Alabama.

At Alabama Chad Walked On to a star studded Gene Stalling led program and not only earned a scholarship and 3 varsity letters, but he also started in 1997 at wide receiver for the storied Alabama Crimson Tide. It gets better! You can read about Chads story in the book by Wayne Atcheson, “Faith of the Crimson Tide.”

Upon receiving his call to ministry Chad preached his first sermon in 1993 at his home church, Pine Forest Baptist Church Macon, Ga. While at Alabama Chad served as FCA President from 1995 – 1997. Being a spiritual leader on the Crimson Tide football program allowed him the opportunity to share his testimony across the state of Alabama beginning in 1994.

Chad is also in the final stages of completing his first book, “The Walk On.” His personally story of Faith, Family and Alabama Football. The Walk On takes you through Chads life of tragedy as a child – to playing quarterback at one of the top high school programs in the state of Georgia – through his unexpected success at the University of Alabama. The book also takes an in depth look at life as a Walk On at one of College Footballs most storied programs

Money raised will be going directly to The Real AJ Foundation. Please join us for food, fun and fellowship as we continue on our mission to bring awareness to Cerebral Palsy and to help those affected by CP to live a “best life”.
