Alabama 35 paving to switch to day work
The Alabama Department of Transportation is advising motorists to expect daytime lane closures and possible delays due to the resurfacing of Alabama 35 in Rainsville between the city limits and Deerman Avenue beginning today (Monday, Nov. 13).
Contractor Wiregrass Construction is beginning to work during daytime hours rather than nighttime hours due to temperature requirements for paving and low forecasted temperatures Lane closures will not begin until after 8:00am each day to allow peak school and business traffic to clear. Lane closures are anticipated to conclude by about 4:30pm daily.
