Alabama Adds More Than 970 New COVID-19 Cases Between Saturday and Sunday.

Alabama added more than 970 new coronavirus cases between Saturday and Sunday.

The Alabama Department of Public Health September 13th numbers show the state has had 125,795 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since March 13th of this year – adding 972 from the day before.  The state added another 137 probable cases, bringing that total to 12,960.

The state’s death toll grew by one overnight, reaching 2,218.

Hospitalizations continued to fall – dropping to 793 – the lowest since early June.

Cherokee County has so far seen a total of 407 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with another 109 being listed as probable and a total of eleven deaths have been attributed to the illness with three others listed as probable in that category.
