Alabama Bass Trail Quarantine Cup Makes A Stop On Weiss Lake

As part of their Quarantine Cup Tournament Series, the Alabama Bass Trail made its way to Weiss Lake on Tuesday for the 2nd Stage of the tournament event.

The two boat tournament featured Bassmaster Elite Series Angler of the Year Scott Canterbury and ABT North Angler Randy Tolbert Jr. who competed in the ABT Quarantine Cup on Weiss Lake.

The event launched and weighed-in at the Leesburg landing.

Canterbury finished the day with a total weight of nine pounds, one ounce and Tolbert had a total weight of fourteen pounds four ounces.

Anglers donated their time to fish, the Alabama Bass Trail made a $500.00 donation and $250.00 was donated from Lowrance – all monies went to the Family Care Center of Cherokee County.

We spoke to Cindy McGinnis with the Family Care Center – she explained how the contribution would assist the facility.
