The Alabama Sports Writers Association high school softball rankings were recently released.

In Class 5A Alexandria is No. 9 while White Plains is No. 3 in Class 4A.   Pisgah & Plainview are 3^rd & 4^th respectively in Class 3A while Class 2A representation comes from No. 4 Sand Rock, No. 8 Collinsville & No. 9 Cedar Bluff.  In Class 1A, Spring Garden is No. 4 and the Lady Trojans of Gaylesville received consideration but are outside the top 10.
