During a Friday morning News Conference – Alabama State School Superintendent Dr. Eric Mackey laid out many of the details of what he’s referring to as a “Roadmap” for re-opening schools for the coming year – stating “This will be the most difficult school year that we’ve ever faced,”

Mackey admitted that the plan is technical in nature and it was created primarily for school administrators; however a simplified parents’ guide has also been prepared to facilitate the better understanding between the school system and parents.
