Alabama State Troopers Respond to Thursday Morning Accidents Involving Injuries in Cherokee County

According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident reports, a Cedar Bluff woman was injured in a two-vehicle wreck taking place on County Road 92 Thursday morning.  That mishap – which took place just prior to 8:00, approximately three miles north of Cedar Bluff – involved a 2010 Ford, driven by 47 year old Cedar Bluff resident Paula Harrell, and a 2003 Chevrolet driven by 48 year old Donald Sexton, also of Cedar Bluff.  Harrell was listed on the report as being hurt although no additional information was noted and Sexton escaped injury. 

A little over an hour later, at 9:18am, troopers responded to a single-vehicle accident taking place on Highway 9, during which a Piedmont resident was injured.  That wreck involved a 2010 Dodge being driven by 23 year old Taylor Herman.   No additional information regarding the extent of Herman’s injuries was available.

Both accidents remain under investigation by state troopers.
