Alabama State Troopers Respond to Two Single-Vehicle Accidents in Cherokee County on Wednesday

Alabama State Troopers responded to two separate, single-vehicle accidents on Wednesday in Cherokee County.

Troopers were among those responding to the scene of a reported accident on Highway 35, at approximately 5:15pm.  According to the report, the vehicle, a 1998 Mitsubishi, had been damaged in the wreck; however the driver was nowhere to be found.

A single vehicle accident taking place a shortly thereafter – at 6:08pm on Highway 35 at the intersection with County Road 114, blocked traffic for a short time as emergency personnel cleared debris from the roadway.  Fortunately, the driver, listed as a resident of Gaylesville, driving a 2005 Chevrolet – managed to escape injury.
