Alabama State Troopers worked two separate single-vehicle accidents involving injuries in Cherokee County on Wednesday.
The first occurred at 8:40am on Alabama Highway 9 involving a 2012 Kia driven by 17 year old Samantha Locklear of Centre – while the second was reported at approximately 1:45pm on Highway 35 involving a 2004 Chevrolet, driven by 41 year old Ft Payne resident, Martha Adams. Both drivers were listed on the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report as having been hurt, however no additional information regarding the extent of the injuries was available.
It was noted that both drivers were wearing their seat belt when the accidents occurred.
