Alabama Voters Have Until 11:59 Tonight to Register to Vote in the December 12th Special Election for U.S. Senate

Alabama Voters have until midnight – almost – well 11:59 tonight to be exact – to register if they wish to vote in the upcoming December 12th Special Election for U.S. Senate between Democratic nominee Doug Jones, and Republican nominee Roy Moore.  Under state law, the last day to register is the 15th day before an election, which in this case is today, Monday, November 27th (2017).

Voters can register during normal office hours at the Board of Registrars’ Offices, and other designated locations OR they can register on-line until 11:59pm NEXT Monday.  The deadline also applies to voters who have moved and need to update their registration.

NOTE – Alabama’s new law banning crossover voting has no bearing on the December 12th election as that law applies only to party primary run-offs.
