Alabama Woman Injured By Own Vehicle

According to Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office reports – a woman is recovering in a Rome area hospital after being run over by her own vehicle on Monday afternoon.

An Alabama woman is recovering in a Floyd County hospital after being run over by her own vehicle this afternoon.

Witnesses say the woman’s black SUV Kia ran out of gas on Hwy. 100 in Holland. A passing motorist stopped to help push the vehicle out of the roadway. As the passerby helped push, the Alabama lady fell out of her vehicle as the Kia headed down a small ditch embankment.

Somehow her legs went underneath the vehicle.

Witnesses say the woman has run out of gasoline in the area numerous times.
