An Albertville pastor was shot in the shoulder in his own church after getting caught in the crossfire of an altercation.
Abertville police confirm the shooting that happened at the Dixie Street Baptist Church when a man allegedly entered the church looking for a man who propositioned an underage child. The shooter opened fire at the alleged predator, but missed and instead shot the pastor in the shoulder.
The pastor is expected to recover.
No arrests have been made at this time.
