Altoona Man Charged With Firing Into An Occupied Vehicle

An Altoona man has been arrested in connection to shooting into an occupied vehicle, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

According to Lieutenant Robin Grant, 37 year old Christopher Lamar Fulenwider of Altoona, was arrested and charged with one count of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling or vehicle, which is a felony. 

Fulenwider allegedly shot into an occupied Chevrolet Suburban that was parked at a residence on Crosby Road.  Fulenwider resides next door. 

He admitted to Lt. Grant he was highly intoxicated when the shooting occurred and believed he was firing his weapon at another vehicle. 

Fulenwider was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash bond.
