A 33 year old Anniston man, has been charged with felony Domestic Violence, after he allegedly threw hot coffee on a five year old child.
Sergeant Chris Sparks with the Anniston PD, told the Anniston Star on Wednesday – that Ravois Johnson stands accused of intentionally throwing coffee on the boy; he said the child is a relative of Johnson’s however officers have yet to reveal what may have led to the incident.
Sergeant Sparks said deputies met the victim and his mother at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital – where the boy was treated for burns to his hip on Tuesday afternoon.
Johnson was placed under arrest and transported to the Anniston City Jail where his bond was set at $5,000.
