Anniston Police Confiscate Drugs, Guns & Cash During Traffic Stop

The Anniston Police Department is bringing up multiple charges on two 22-year-old males from Tennessee after making a traffic stop on Friday night, according to the department’s Facebook page. The department said a B Shift supervisor made the stop on the 431 bypass before performing a search of the vehicle.

During the search, police found two handguns, $1483, a half pound of meth, 18 assorted controlled substance pills and an unknown blue powder.

The males were arrested and placed in the Calhoun County Jail. All substances will be sent to the lab for analysis and additional charges are probable.
