An Anniston woman was killed and two children injured in a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning on U.S. 231, three miles south of Rockford.
Alabama State Trooper reports indicate that 30 year old Brooklyn Paige Milam was fatally injured in that 6:30am crash when the 2015 Chrysler Town & Country she was driving left the road and traveled down an embankment. Milam, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two child occupants were carried to Children’s Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham for the treatment of their injuries.
No additional information is being released at this time – the cause of that accident remains under investigation by troopers.
