The annual Christmas Tour of Homes presented by the Weiss Lake Women’s Club is coming up on Sunday (December 3rd), between the hours of 1:00 and 4:00pm. This year’s tour will include the McCord’s Homemaker Club Building where refreshments will be served and the Homemaker’s will be hosting a “Bake Sale” – that tour will also feature five beautiful homes in the McCord’s Crossroads area.
That includes the residences of Rhett & Jessica Walker; Jared & Haley Roddam; Tim Garner; Wayne & Susan Jennings “Christmas Room” and “Sam’s Place” with Sam Eli & Katie Tidwell. Tickets will be available at each location.
The Weiss Lake Women’s Club would like to thank all of their sponsors, because with their help they are able to provide support to the following organizations: The Family Care Center, the McKinney/Vento Program in the schools, Extended Family, all five elementary school libraries, NAMI, the Child Advocacy Center, and a scholarship at Gadsden State. They also have three “Little Free Libraries” in the county located at the Museum in Centre, Sarrell Dental in Leesburg and Johnson Pharmacy in Cedar Bluff. All money raised by the Weiss Lake Women’s Club remains here in Cherokee County, and is dedicated to the needy.
