Sheriff’s Office Investigator Brent Snead has recovered an antique tractor which was stolen from property in the Mt. Weisner community last September (2017).
Sheriff Jeff Shaver says the tractor – a 1960 International – was recovered near Jacksonville with the assistance of both the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office and Game & Fish Officer Jody Yancey last Thursday (March 1st, 2018).
It has since been returned to the rightful owner and investigators continue to track leads in an effort to find the person or person(s) responsible for the theft.
