Arrest Has Been Made in Connection with Terroristic Threat at Oxford High School

Oxford High 1Police have now made an arrest, in connection with what was deemed a “terroristic threat”, which caused a lockdown of Oxford High School in mid-September.

Chief Bill Partridge announced that a 17 year old has been arrested in connection with that incident, adding that forensic evidence investigators “helped to identify the offender.”

He said no additional information is being released at this time.

At around 10:00 on the morning of September 18th, the school was cleared and a lockdown was instituted, after school administrators found an anonymous note that stated a shooting would take place that day.

An exhaustive search of the facility was immediately conducted using K-9 units.

The note was taken into evidence and subjected to forensic analysis which eventually led to the arrest.
