The Atlanta Field Division of the ATF has announced a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the successful prosecution of persons involved in any gang-related offenses in addition to any gang-related activity recently occurring in the Rome and Floyd County area.
Floyd County law enforcement officials have reported a sharp upswing in violent gang activity which includes multiple shootings, armed robberies and one homicide.
One case in particular that authorities are interested in gathering information on, is the drive-by shooting that took place on South Broad Street back on March 16th which resulted in one person being shot in the back; 25 year old Willie Stubbs continues to recover from his wound.
There was also a fatal shooting at the Chevy Club on April 26th which claimed the life of Justin Foster and the shooting of a store clerk at the Big H convenience store on May 16th. Both cases remain under investigation.
