Maybe it seemed like a good idea at the time – but trying to steal a pressure washer just ahead of an approaching stormfront landed an Etowah County man behind bars Monday night.
52 year old Bobby Delane Henry was allegedly attempting to make-off with the pressure washer from a residence on Boutwell Road in the Carlisle community when he was spotted by the owner of the home as he was on his way to seek shelter from the severe weather that was on the way.
Henry was placed under arrest and charged with felony Theft of Property 3rd Degree.
He was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center on bond of $1,000.
