Author, Lecturer Chris Dendy Visits WEIS Radio to Discuss Upcoming Event at Gadsden State Cherokee

On Thursday morning WEIS Radio welcomed to the studio Chris Dendy, a renowned author and a specialist well known for helping children and teens struggling with Attention Deficit Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders.  During the visit Dendy discussed an upcoming event which will take place on the campus of Gadsden State Cherokee next month, one that will be somewhat broader in scope than your average seminar:

Dendy works to help parents learn to recognize potential warning signs because if a problem truly exists, the sooner a child receives help dealing with ADHD – the better.

Attention Deficit Disorder exists on many different levels – children don’t have to be failing; they may be passing their classes but performing far below the level that they’re capable of, and with help they can reach their full potential.  That upcoming program on the campus of Gadsden State Cherokee in Centre, entitled, “Is Your Child Struggling in School?” will include information on how you can help your child, how your school can provide assistance, a review of common learning challenges presented by Dendy and Dr. Kathleen Duryea and much more.
