Authorities Arrest Two on Drug Distribution Charges / Two Others Sought

Two people have been arrested on heroin distribution charges, and Oxford Police are in the process of searching for two other individuals wanted on similar charges.

Two Oxford residents, 35 year old Jeffery Slick and 33 year old LaDonna Nobles were taken into custody last Friday (September 5th), after being found in possession of an undisclosed amount of heroin which had been packaged for individual sale.

Slick faces four counts of distribution of heroin while Nobles faces three.

Both are currently being held in the Calhoun County Jail.

Law enforcement is also searching for James Smith, Jr. of Anniston – who is wanted for both heroin and methamphetamine distribution, and William Good of Oxford, who is wanted for distribution of heroin.
