A recall has been issued for baby cough syrup that is sold all over the country. Kingston Pharma is recalling its 2 fl. oz. bottles of “health NATURALS baby Cough Syrup plus Mucus” due to a potential bacterial contamination called Bacillus. The expiration date on the recalled syrup is November, 2020.

These bacteria can make infants sick, causing vomiting or diarrhea. So far, no illnesses have been reported to the FDA. The product has been suspended until the FDA and the company discovers and solves the source of the problem. If you have this cough syrup, you are encouraged to throw it away or return to the store for a full refund.
