Backstage at Walt Disney World Holiday Services

ABC News(ORLANDO, Fla.) — Ever wonder how the Walt Disney Parks go from nearly bare to completely decked out in their holiday best, seemingly overnight?

It’s all part of the magic, of course — created by the magicians from the world of decorative pieces at the Holiday Services warehouse.

From the outside, the warehouse seems pretty run of the mill. Nothing, save its sign, gives away what’s going on inside.

But, open the doors, and it’s a virtual wonderland of holiday delights. Thousands of square feet of holiday decorations. Hundreds of wreaths. Trees by the dozen. More decorations than can be counted on one visit.

ABC News was invited backstage in May. Although the visit was in springtime, the holiday service employees were already working like Santa’s elves, toiling away at the details that would make the parks and resorts spectacular by November.
