According to Alabama State Troopers an 18 wheeler sustained a ruptured fuel tank Monday morning near the Alabama/Georgia line on I-59 in DeKalb County.
As of 7:20am, the truck was off the roadway and there was no delay to traffic along the area but motorists were being cautioned to slow down when approaching the location.
Fortunately no one was hurt and no other vehicles were involved; it appears that the big rig simply struck an unknown object in the roadway.
The EMA was called to the location.
