John J. Kim/Chicago Tribune/TNS via Getty Images(CHICAGO) — Die-hard Chicago Cubs fan Bill Murray got the role of a lifetime when he was tapped to lead baseball fans inside Wrigley Field in singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” Friday.
Murray, 66, got on the microphone during Game 3’s seventh inning stretch to sing his rendition of the classic baseball song.
Before the Chicago native began the tune, he told the crowd he’d be singing in the style of Daffy Duck, slobbering some notes.
The Cubs went on to lose the game. The Cleveland Indians noiw lead the series 2-1.
