Billy Jack Chumbler, age 77 of Gaylesville, passed away Friday, October 9th at Floyd Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 1:PM Monday, October 12th at Weiss Lake Memory Gardens with Len Chumbler and Corey Colbert officiating.
Pallbearers will be nephews and great nephews.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Kay Montagne Chumbler; special caregivers, Holly Rutledge and Kristi Black; several nieces, nephews and great nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sisters, Pat Helms, Wilouise “Chum” Colbert and Martha Elrod; brothers, Alton “Monkey”, Talmadge “Dink”, and Doyle.
Mr. Chumbler was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Richard Ralph “Buster” and Maggie Pointer Chumbler, he was retired from General Electric and was of the Baptist faith.
