Blood Assurance will be holding two blood drives in the area over the next several days – at DeKalb Regional Medical Center in Ft Payne (200 Medical Center Drive Southwest) Monday October 2nd from 10:00 – 3:00 and Dean’s Pharmacy (699 Cedar Bluff Road, Centre) Friday October 6th from 9:00 – 2:00.
Donors will receive their choice of a “One Cool Donor” t-shirt with glow-in-the-dark writing or “I Bleed” socks in their favorite team color – those donating during the month of October will also be registered in the drawing to win a $250 Walmart Gift Card.

Blood Assurance is a nonprofit, full-service regional blood center serving 51 counties and more than 75 health care facilities in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina and Virginia. Over 540 volunteer blood donors are needed every day in order to adequately supply these hospitals.
