A two-vehicle crash taking place early Sunday morning in Etowah County claimed the life of one person, according to Alabama State Troopers.
The accident report stated that the wreck occurred just after 7:00am on U.S. Highway 431 and involved a 2005 Dodge, being driven by a female resident of Boaz – who died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash and a 1994 Dodge being driven by a male resident of Gadsden, who was unhurt.
The cause of that wreck remains under investigation – additional information will be forthcoming.
