Bobbie Lou Tierce

Funeral Services for Bobbie Lou Tierce, 76, of Spring Garden will be Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Hicks and the Rev. Bobby Kirk officiating.

Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Tierce passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at her home.

Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Alton Tierce of Spring Garden; four children, Randall Tierce, David Tierce (Gaynell) and Shirley Flynt (Greg), all of Spring Garden and Michael Tierce (Teresa) of Rome, Georgia; six grandchildren, Scott Tierce, Steven Tierce, Brandon Flynt, Melissa Woodall (Daniel), Brent Moore (Tiffany) and Brittney Tierce; four great-grandchildren, Karen Moore, Hunter Moore, Paisley Woodall and Ryker Woodall; three sisters, Annie Tierce (Charles) of Spring Garden , Inez Fowler (Ronnie) and Frances Pruitt , all of Canton, Georgia and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Scott Tierce, Steven Tierce, Brent Moore, Barry Adderhold, Ronnie Thacker and Martin Truett.

Mrs. Tierce was a resident of Spring Garden most of her life.

She was a member of Pleasant Arbor Baptist Church and was retired from Springs Industries.

She enjoyed church and going to gospel singing.

The Thompson Funeral Home is directing.
