Bobby R Colley (Shaggy Dog), Age 72, passed away peacefully at home on Jan 18th, 2018.
Bobby resided in Walls, MS and was born in Centre, AL on March 10, 1945.
He was preceded in death by his parents Sam Cardon and Frances Colley and sisters Mary Colley and Martha Wheeling.
He is survived by wife Nancy, two sons Chris (Kelli) and Neil (Annalee), five grandchildren Tyler (Haley), Alyssa, Chandler, Caleb and Ashlyn, two great-grandchildren Gene Bonney and Ava; one brother Gene (Doris) and three sisters Louise Moll (Al), Phyllis Maddox and Francine Young (Rickey).
Bobby loved his grandkids and had such a strong faith, so thankful for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He loved sharing his bible knowledge. He was proud of his boys, the men they’ve become. He and Nancy were married November 20th, 1967. Bobby worked hard to create a better life for his family. He was an over the road truck driver for over 45 years, driving for Yellow Freight the last 29 years, retired in 2012. He was most thankful for the care Nancy provided.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date in Centre, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN are preferred.
