Alabama Highway 9 North at County Road 131 in front of the Country Store in Cedar Bluff was shutdown for a short period of time on Saturday night while crews worked to remove an 18 wheeler that was blocking both lanes. It appears the driver was attempting to make a right turn onto Highway 9 off of County Road 131 when the rear wheels of the trailer dropped off into a ditch and caused the entire truck to come off of the ground.
Firefighters rerouted traffic through the parking lot at the Country Store while wrecker crews removed the trailer from the ditch. Cedar Bluff Police also responded to the scene. No one was injured during the mishap.
