A 25 year old Rainsville man, and his 40 year old mother – were arrested on drug charges in DeKalb County.
Officers of the Powell and Sylvania Police Departments went to the residence of Justin Tyler Jackson, on County Road 572, in order to serve felony warrants on the charge of 3rd Degree Escape in addition to Failure to Appear.
Upon arrival they noticed drugs in plain sight, and that’s when DeKalb County Investigators were called to the scene.
Both Jackson and his mother, Gloria Patterson also of Rainsville, were arrested and charged with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Those arrests were made on Tuesday of this week (October 18th).
