Suspect Remains At Large Following A Manhunt By Several Agencies

A man wanted in connection with a Burglary remains at large following an extensive manhunt which involved several Law Enforcement Agencies from across Cherokee County and the State.

Cedar Bluff Police Chief Steve Walden tells WEIS Radio News that officers are searching for 45 year old Alan Wayne Hall – Hall is described as a white male standing 6’tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds with blonde hair, he was wearing camouflage clothing with a black hat.

Hall was to believe to have last been seen in the area of County Road 44 & 144 in the Antioch Community in Cedar Bluff near Harton’s Store.

K-9 Units, along with an Alabama State Troopers Helicopter Crew and several officers on the ground combed the area searching for Hall for over four hours Monday night.

Officers from Cedar Bluff, Centre and Leesburg Police Departments, the Cherokee County Major Crimes Unit, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department, U.S. Marshals and Alabama State Troopers all assisted in the manhunt.

Hall remains at large and U.S. Marshals say if you come into contact with Hall or know his current whereabouts, call 9-1-1 immediately.
