Bristol Man Racks Up Long List of Charges Locally Thursday Night

A Bristol man managed to rack up a long list of charges in Cherokee County Thursday night.

According to information posted on the Sheriff’s Office website – 32 year old Donald Shane Hawthorne was jailed on charges of Attempting to Elude, being a Fugitive from Justice, DUI, Attempted Assault 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, Reckless Endangerment, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Receiving Stolen property 4th Degree, Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs, Resisting Arrest and an array of traffic violations.

Speeding, Failing to Signal, Improper Passing, Lack of Reasonable & Proper Speed, Failure/ Refusal to Display Insurance, Improper/No Mirror, Following Too Closely, Speeding 26mph over the Speed Limit, Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign, Running a Red Light, Failure to Yield, Improper Lane Usage and Reckless Driving.

Hawthorne is also on Hold for another agency.

He was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center shortly after 11:30pm where he remains awaiting a bond hearing
