Anniston Police say they caught a burglar in the bathroom when responding to a service station break-in. Capt. Allen George said in a news release that officers responded to a burglary-in-progress call at a Chevron station at 1229 Wilmer Avenue around 12 a.m.
Once there, officers found a broken glass door with blood drops visible inside the business. Inside, they found 49 year old Richard Kevin Walker of Anniston, hiding in an interior restroom, George said.
Walker has been charged with third degree burglary.
