Calhoun County Authorities Investigating Apparent Murder/Suicide In White Plains

Calhoun County authorities are investigating an apparent murder/suicide taking place in White Plains on Thursday.

Police say Tony Parker shot and killed his children and his daughter’s fiancé before killing himself. Calhoun County Sheriff Matthew Wade said that deputies responded to the home on Chinch Creek Road after Parker called 911 and said that he had killed some people and was going to kill himself

Deputies arrived to find three bodies in the front yard, but not Parker. Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown identified the victims as 19-year-old Heather Parker and 20-year-old Brandon Roberts. Brown declined to name the 12-year-old boy who was also killed.

Deputies later found Tony Parker with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound 3 miles from the home at the corner of Rabbittown Road and Red Road 55.

Police say Parker’s children did not regularly live with him. The case is currently under investigation.
