The Calhoun County Sheriffs Office would like to once again bring to the attention of the public two cases which involved assaults on women.
On July 15th of 2012 – a black male followed an elderly female to her home and assaulted her in the front yard of the residence.
Last July (in 2013) in northern Talladega County, an elderly woman was sexually assaulted after she was followed to her home by a suspect – also a black male.
After working together and sharing evidence, the agencies involved have come to the conclusion that the two attacks involved the same suspect.
