If you’re a resident of Calhoun County, you now have the option to apply for a pistol permit on-line. According to Sheriff Matthew Wade renewals are also available on-line.
Wade added that this is part on an on-going effort to streamline operations, and to improve customer service. Those wishing to apply, or renew, in person may do so by simply visiting the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office at 400 West 8th Street in Anniston.
Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.
