Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputy Expected To Be OK After His Patrol Car Was Struck By a Drunk Driver

A Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputy is recovering after his patrol cruiser got hit by a suspected drunk driver on Highway 78.

Sheriff Matthew Wade said that the deputy is expected to be okay. Wade also said that Oxford police were quick to respond and make an arrest. 

According to Oxford Police Captain L.G. Owens, the driver of the Jeep that hit the patrol cruiser was from Oklahoma. Bradley Culp is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and second degree possession of marijuana.
