The brand new amphitheater at the Little River Canyon Center will be the site of this weekend’s “Bluegrass on the Rim” concert – and it’s the inaugural event on the new stage.

The concert – which kicks-off Saturday (June 21st) at 3:00pm, lasting until 9:00 that night – will feature a stellar lineup of bluegrass artists, including Ronnie Reno & the Reno Tradition, Valley Road, Tim Watson, Solid Blue and the Foggy Hollow Review.

Tickets for the show are $25 each and children under six will be admitted FREE of charge.

Tickets can be purchased on-line at www.canyonconcerts.com OR at the Canyon Center.

Canyon Center Director Pete Conroy says there will be BBQ on sale during the show and people should bring along lawn chairs and a blanket to sit on the ground.

Saturday’s concert is sponsored by Jacksonville State University.
