Car Catches Fire After Being Struck by Motor Home on I-75

I-75An RV barreled down an embankment and crashed into a tree, while another vehicle caught fire in the middle of the road following an accident on I-75 Sunday.

According to the Georgia State Patrol accident report the wreck took place around 9:00 that morning when a 2013 Aspire motor home had a blowout, causing the RV to go off the right-hand side of the road, and hit a Toyota that was parked along the roadside.  After smashing into the other vehicle the RV went down an embankment, and finally came to rest against a tree; the force of the impact pushed the Toyota into the middle lane, where it caught fire.

The Toyota, which was parked legally, was unoccupied at the time the incident occurred.

Luckily, no one, including those in the RV were injured; however, the person who owns the Toyota is in for a surprise when they finally do show back up.
